Vedic Flying

Question
Hi David !! I've been going thru a lot of articles stating flying is possible. But i really want to know if hopping (for example, levitating for more than 10 seconds in the lotus posture) really works. Please answer my question with a little more clarity. I really am interested to join the course not only for this purpose, but also considering the other facts the course teaches.

Answer
Ram, Thank you for your question.

Sorry for the delay in replying. It is due to all the spam I've been getting from AllExperts.

I highly recommend Maharishi's TM-Sidhi program, which includes the flying technique.

But levitating is hardly the purpose or the value of the course. If you are imagining floating in the air, that is contrary to physics and contrary to the experience of vedic flyers. What actually happens is a remarkable integration of mind and body in which the faintest desire to lift up is translated into vigorous muscular activity that causes the body to hop. An important side effect of this integration is a powerful feeling of inner bliss and energy. This is really a development of consciousness, a growth of individual awareness and will, a breaking of boundaries and direct experience of universal consciousness.

I hope this brief answer has helped. Please feel free to submit follow up questions, if needed.
