Question
dear david,
i had practised TM about 10 years back.
i have been practising TM on and off during these ten years and have also come across many other meditation techniques.
however the TM technique still holds a special place in my mind
but i am not being able to continue or re- start Tm because i am not being able to find any centres in which i can revise the technique and also in which i can further learn the TM Shiddi Programme.
i am originally from Nepal but at this moment i am in Pakistan
if there are any centres you know in which i can revise the Tm technique and also learn TM Shiddi in any centre in Pakistan or in Nepal, please be kind enough to let me know about them.
if possible please also gove me the contact of any authentic centre that runs in India
thank you
Answer
Sarvesh, Thank you for your question.
I don't know the answer, since I live in the USA. However, quite of bit of Web searching revealed the following information:
* A form for finding a TM centre anywhere in the world is located at www.tm.org/learn/where/international.html .
* The URL for TM in India referenced on many Websites is www.maharishi-india.org, but when I tried it, it did not work.
* I could not find any links for TM in Pakistan or Nepal. I don't know why TM centres for many countries are so hard to find on the Web.
* www.indianetzone.com/17/transcendental_meditation_center_noida_uttar_pradesh.htm is the Website of the TM centre (Maharishi Nagar) in Noida, Uttar Pradesh
* www.mumt.com is the Website of the Maharishi University of Management and Technology (MUMT) in India, which has campuses in Bilaspur, Raipur, Durg, and Raigarh.
* Other India links are at www.maharishiinstituteofmanagement.com/campuses.htm, www.mceeindia.com/index.htm, www.mmyvv.com/mmyvv-e/index.htm
I hope this brief answer has helped. Please feel free to submit follow up questions, if needed.
If you give up trying to locate a TM centre near you, you might be interested in the Website of NSR Meditation, www.nsrusa.org. We teach a comparable technique (www.nsrusa.org/compare.php) by mail and the Internet.
