Answer
Hello John,

First, thank you very much for your question. Let me start by saying that masturbation is very common among men your age. Much of that has to do with the "fire" that young men experience as they grow and mature. Often the "fire" needs a form of release which is a very real physical need. That form of release can come in the form of masturbation, exercise or meditation. Based on the information you have provided, it is my suspect that your impotency can be contributed to more than just one component the first of which would be stress. The second, I am assuming, is lack of a proper diet. The third, again I am assuming, would be a lack of exercise. As a college student, most are afflicted by these three common factors which can have very real affects on one's sexual drive.

I unfortunately am not able to provide and "tricks" to re-balance your sexual drive. I can however provide suggestions in order to assist you. The first suggestion would be to find a minimum of 1 hour per day that is dedicated to you and what you really enjoy. That can be something as simple as taking a walk. The most important part of this suggestion is to remove all distractions that would invade that time for you.

The second suggestion I would recommend is to introduce a balance diet into your daily routine. Start with 1 balanced meal a day then progress to 3 balanced meals per day remembering to include both fruits and vegetables. The vegetables will help to cool the "fire" and soften the intensity of the need to masturbate not to mention improve your overall health.

The third suggestion would be to begin a meditation regimen. There are many forms of meditation which do not necessarily have to include sitting in the lotus position for several hours. Meditation can also be plugging into soft music and allowing your full self to be immersed in the music. I would suggest soft music without vocals but simply instrumental. This type of music allows your body and emotions to interpret for itself that place of balance.

I do hope these few suggestions have provided a starting place for you. Should you have additional questions, please let me know. In the meantime, I do wish you all the best. Be well.
