TM Siddhis

Question
Sir,

i began tm in 1973 and completed my siddhis in 1983. During the flying block of the course i had a very powerful experience that has me a little perplexed.

i was sitting in group program and being very settled i notice a sparkling pin hole at the top of my skull, as i placed  my attention on that, it began to expand and fill my head from top down with the most white liquid electrically-charged substance. as my fascination went from curiosity to fear immediately the event ended. after the group program the instructor asked for any experiences of which i mentioned mine... his response was that it was a valid experience but did not help w/ any sort of explanation. could you please expand on this for me... thank you

sincerely rpc

Answer
Richard, Thank you for your question.

As this is a public source of information, I will give the same answer: this is one of many possible experiences that can happen as a result of the TM-Sidhi Program. If you wish an in-depth personalized response, you need to send your question using the Contact Us form at www.nsrusa.org.

The TM-Sidhi Program is an advanced program based on Transcendental Meditation, an effortless, natural, effective mental technique, practiced twice a day for 20 minutes each time while sitting with the eyes closed in a comfortable chair. Transcendental Meditation (TM) brings the mind to pure consciousness, pure alertness, while the body enjoys a much deeper rest than occurs during sleep at night. This rest is deep enough to allow the nervous system to dissolve daily stresses accumulated over the years, freeing the nervous system from these blocks to full experience and the ability to perform and accomplish goals.

Along the way, the release of stress can have side-effects such as the rather remarkable experience described here by Richard C. However, these side effects are not important. What is important is the improved relationships and freedom from problems that we enjoy in our daily life based on the reduction and eventual elimination of stress.
